Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was once a supermodel is now a film director. Her beautiful beauty and success in the film industry reflect her talents as an actor. When she was a model in her early years, she started in the 70s. She quickly became prominent within the world of modeling. After studying acting Russo started her modeling career at the age of Los Angeles. The year 1987 saw Russo portrayed Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. The consistency of her performance has won over the critics, who initially were unsure regarding her talents as an actress. The critics loved her most in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she stood her own to the point of no return against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own words she wasn't a fan of the acting. After a lengthy break, she self-imposed in 2005. In the film Thor, she returned to her acting. The film also featured her in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was which was directed by husband. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies like The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes in the UFC. She began her career as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of fame since joining the UFC because of her inside and outside the octagon success. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in basketball and kickboxing as she grew to maturity. Invicta Fighting Championships provided her with the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age 18, when she defeated two of her opponents. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at the age of 22, she signed for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has had highs and she's also had lows in her career but always came to the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever women to compete in a title fight with any major promotion worldwide. In the aftermath of this win Namajunas continued to win other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
