KatePrince William and Kate Middleton began their relationship when they were both students at St. Andrews in 2001. According to legends, Prince William met Kate Middleton at a fashion show where she wore transparent clothing and piqued his curiosity. The year 2003 was the first time they had been engaged. Middleton was roommate with Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. Kate Middleton started to be attacked by various media outlets at the same time. The result was a number of individuals threatening legal lawsuits against Kate Middleton, as well as members of her family lawyer. Unknown reasons led to Kate and William separated in 2007. Though rumors began to circulate shortly afterwards, it was believed that they were back together.
