Tom Selleck-1-1024x1005In 1997, with the Horizon Award, the Congressional Award in Washington DC honored me. The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress as well as the Congressional Award Board of Directors, give the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award recognizes individuals from the private sector who have contributed in promoting opportunities for all Americans by their personal contributions and have set exemplary examples for young people by their achievements in life. Tom was a wonderful co-player and enjoyed being in such an accomplished, well-experienced group. He worked hard and played hard whenever his Magnum schedule permitted . He was patient with us all and we thoroughly enjoyed the huge crowds which replaced our usual couple of spouses and friends at the national tourney matches. ".
